Personalizing coloring for Z's

I wouldn't worry about deleting the thread. It shouldn't get many responses now that we've cluttered it and should just disappear into the depths.

Back in the day you could order your car pretty much however you wanted. Nowadays not many companies allow you to do that. BMW has the individual program (which I really like and you can fly to Germany and take delivery of your car.) that is the closest we have to pick and choose individualism. Honestly, I believe they need to bring this option back for a premium option or program. I would definitely buy into a program that paints my car a specialty color from the factory. This is definitely something that is doable and I believe Ford and GM are starting to get to that point. Long live the muscle car era.

Individualism is what sets everything and everyone apart. This would be one step. In the long run I would just like to have a custom body/lip kit made for me. Sad thing all these ideas can be costly unless some sacrifice is made. And those days are long gone. People want the money. Good thing the Z is a great deal in itself.

I myself would have looked into ordering a special color too but once nissan said anything north of a grand I would start to faulter. And I'm sure it would have been more than $4000 for a special order color. I believe that Nissan should get rid of some of the grays and offer other colors like racing green.
