I rally enjoyed the 370z.

The fact that you're asking these questions says you probably are too old for a Z. Buy a Camry instead.

I see guys a lot older than you driving Z's all the time. Stop being ridiculous.

It's your car and your money! do what you please...
But the Z is an awesome car for anyone..except for 18-20 yr olds, and 60 year olds....sooo buy it very soon! HAHA
HAVE FUN!

Yes, you are too old for a Z. You should have to suffer in an old person's car, like a Caddy CTS-V Coupe.

Jack370Z 10-10-2010 10:07 PM

I hope you're not...I'm 61 and this is my 3rd Z...had a 280 (back in the 70's) just sold an '86 300 (had just over 200K) and lovin' my 370...git u one...you'll have a ball but get ready...people will tailgate you to try and figure out what the hell that good lookin' car in front of them is.

My age was the last thing I considered when I made the decision. But, I've always been a car lover from the old days of running my '64 Falcon Sprint on the strip down to my current car. You can see by my siggy this is my 4th two seather. BTW, I'm 59.

No, but you're definitely too old to care about what other people think.

Get the Z if you want one.

I just turned 50 and bought my Z a month ago.....all but 2 cars I've ever owned in my life have been sports cars. Of all the things to worry about in life, what someone thinks about the age-appropriateness of your car should be the last thing to worry about on the list. It's none of their business what you drive. If you like it, drive it.

this question reminds me of a line from a jaguar tv commercial:
"if not now then when?"

I just bought my 370. Let's say I am old enough to have owned one of the first 240Z's that were sold in the U.S. When I bought it, there was a 6 to 9 month waiting list to get one. I got mine sooner by taking a weird orange color Nissan had that year.

I figure I will be too old for my Z when I can no longer get myself in and out of the car.

Also, the Z isn't really that cheap anymore. Mine cost over $40k before I added new tires, backup camera, invisible bra, SS brake lines, etc. I figure I am in the low end of Porsche territory now.

Most of all, who cares what anyone thinks. I am very happy with my Z and I don't give a $#%@ what anyone else thinks aobut it.

I'm interested too. I have been waiting for someone to add the backup camera to the oem navigation.
