I'm very curious to see some numbers bc the Z has never been consistent. Can someone post the specs?

So in a nutshell their recommendation is this: If you're a racer, get the Z. If you're a poser, get the mustang. I agree

I took it the opposite. Every test I have seen, the new mustang betters the 370Z on the track, both the twisty and the straight kind. The Z feels "racier" though, I enjoyed it when I test-drove it.

In the end, they are two different cars, though. When Nissan puts a 400+hp engine in their car, then they can come back and try again with the comparo, until then, the GT is a ringer for the M3, just with a lot less refinement.

In the article they said if they are going all out on a track they will take the lighter more sophisticated Z. If they were a 30 something year old cruising the streets they will take the mustang

They say it in the article:
"If we were going all out on a racetrack, we'd likely pick the lighter, more sophisticated Z."

Now I am not saying that is the right choice or a 'better' choice, but the article does clearly lean towards the idea that the Z in their minds is a better choice for those at the track, as the car stands in the article.

Granted, I give you that. I would like to see the Z compared to the mustang on a shorter track, though. We know the GT wins in a straight line, but I am curious how it would do on a short track. Every test I have seen, the GT wins. I think they just like the "feel" of the cars in a different way in that article.

Yeesh. This guy again.

I get it. They get it. The whole forum gets it. You want a Z with at least 400 hp.
