I have no problems with them at the drag strip. A few N/A bolt ons and I run 12.8009 and its a 7 AT.

Careful. If there is a cam to go with the exhaust, your goose is cooked. Cam and spray, deep in the 10's. Just a 150 shot makes a reliable 11 second car at 120+ from an LS1, and they have been around so long that hardly any of them are stock anymore.

Yeah, a cammed LSx is going to whoop up on a ton of ****.

When I had my 2003 GT I was afraid of LS1s.

When I had my 370Z I was afraid of LS1s.

Now that I have my 5.0, I'm STILL afraid of LS1s.

They are either 1) beaten to hell and run like shiite or 2) are well kept and modded to hell.

any car guy will know if a car is cammed, its EXTREMELY noticeable at idle, hes not cammed. And the 5.0 does tens with bolt ons/tune
