Does anybody know how the above breaks down into HP gain? i.e. 10 hp gained from one mod 6HP from another etc. I certainly don't. Thank you.

Mods don't work like that. They all have a cumalative effect and any one by itself would result in a different gain than when in conjunction with others, in any combination.

This is an often overlooked fact about performance mods.

"my intake gives me 12 hp, my exhaust gets me 20, and my custom air filters promise me a 9 hp boost, so therefore I must be making 41 hp over stock." This is a fallacy.

Euro dynos are always a bit hard to compare to US dynos too... yeah that is a crank estimate (ironcially, probably from a chassis dyno), so if true, figure around 305 - 310 wheel which is totally do-able with those bolt-ons and a tune, and thus not all that impressive.

RCZ 10-07-2010 08:12 PM

lol, its actually not all that much of an increase...from 332 to 365 is actually not that far fetched.

christian370z 10-07-2010 08:25 PM

If you take my dyno run for instance, I am putting down 310whp/259ftlbs which at 20% drivetrain loss would mean I am around 370hp at the crank with mods in my sig. It wouldn't be too far fetched with an exhaust and a longtube intake.

Most of the power came from the tune.
