Infiniti G37X w/ the sport package
G37 and the 370 share the exact same platform. The Canadians can buy a G37X w/ the sport package (19 in. wheels vs USA 18 in.). I would like to have a G37XS 7 speed sedan w/ the Stillen supercharger. It wouldn't spin, just hook and accelerate hard. It would be nice to have all-weather capability, comfort and performance. However, I wouldn't sell my 370 to have one. I think the 370 should stay as is-rwd. Our cars are near perfect, just a little refinement here and there plus about 40 hp. I might even install the Stillen unit on it down the road; a little leary of it right now.

Ok. Playing off a very old thread here but has anyone done this yet on the 370? With twins I think this would be extremely functional. Especially around 10 psi where I'm looking to roll around.

G37X 0-60 vs.g37 0-60 would probably give us a good delta to go by for a 370z awd 0-60

You are looking at 10-20k and months in the shop. I inquired about it and that is what i got quoted. Its one thing if you have an auto because the g37x parts fit with minimal modification, but if you have a MT you are looking at serious work

I would have bought one if there was a 370Z AWD 6MT. VQ AWDs only come in MTs. Imagine the handling on these. Then you can boost it up later. Down side is it's 50k MSRP.

Like it has been said already eventually someone will do it , just like every other Z model before. Someone will eventually do the conversion. I have seen Z32's modded with old pathfinder drive train and even some that used old R32 parts. Then also like the video above z33's with G drivetrain swaps.
I am kinda surprised that there isn't a Z34 done yet though

at stock power levels, no... however if the car was F.I and your interested in going straight I could see the reason for desiring it

But.............
370z - say $28K Twins - $12K Brakes/susp - $6K Body work - $4k Wheels $ 3K AWD conversion - $15K (estimated) Total = $68,000 Now you have $68K into your AWD Z and you could easily get a much, much more reliable GT-R for that. |
