Default brake light comes on during shifts

Well since I've had the car I've noticed that between shifts the red ebrake light comes on. Is this normal. I have a sport touring 2010. Sorry if this is covered. The search function was freaking my droid out.

Maybe your ebrake light sensor is too sensitive?

Don't think so the warning display doesn't come on. And there's a good bit if play before it comes on

Check your brake fluid level. If it's anything less than FULL, you'll get weird dash lights when you accelerate, brake, turn, fart, or sneeze.

Yeah the sensor in the brake fluid reservoir triggers the brake light. Happened to me after I changed brake lines and had a tiny leak.
