Default inexpensive car camera mount 4 iphone 4

For those of you who like to do auto-x, drift, or spirited freeway driving here is an option for us iphone 4 owners.

I was searching for a mount for my iphone particulary one that can do in-car footage and after searching i came up with this bad boy for less than $10 shipped on Amazon.

here's a sample of one of the possible views.

installed

Overall: it holds onto the phone pretty well, even with my thick silicon case. The video capture is good and sound is good, in my opinion better than the GOPRO.

When i get more mods, I will include video, or if i ever hit the track, ill post up.

Just figured id let you guys know!

I don't like the suction cup. It falls off in hot whether. At least thats what my garmin nuvi does when I leave it parked in the sun for a few hours.

Doesn't this block the camera on the back of the phone?

i was thinking the same thing, but the 3rd picture in the op appears to show a clear view through the camera.

I had to show the wife the drifting video...

If I didn't have a 370Z in the garage, I would want one...

One bad little car ...I come from the land of high horsepower old school, and the 370z is one crazy little hot rod...
