Is that the standard GT? You should have picked up the 2011 GT 500. That things a freakin monster.
What's the biggest difference between the Z and the Stang, from a driving perspective? |

Was it abysmal Nissan service that drove you to Ford?

(Oh yeah, and if I remember right, the GT500 pulled almost identical times on VIR as a standard GT, thanks to its ridiculously horrible weight ratio).

Yes!!! First it was the wheel lock issue, then the hatch not closing properly, 4th largest city in the US and I always have to "wait" on getting tires because no one has them in stock, the latch on the hatch did not catch (yes, it rhymes and yes I had to take it to the dealership), this is what takes the cake...last weekend I go to start the car and notice that when I push the start button nothing happened, the steering wheel is locked as well as the brake and a picture of a key is lighting up on the dash. F U R I O U S, I pull out the manual and it states if you see the key light up on the dash then it is IMPOSSIBLE to start your vehicle contact your nearest Nissan dealership. I was at a gas station by the way.
I waited an hour to get it towed. I get a call from the dealership and all I remember is ...blah blah blah it could be one of three things blah blah blah we have to order the part because no one in Houston has it blah blah blah transmitter blah blah blah keyfob. Next day, "well we got it to start but the steering wheel is still locked blah blah blah we have to order the part because no one in Houston has it." Under Warranty....YES...Less than 2 years old....YES...Waste of my time....Yes....Buy another Nissan.....................NO! Enough is Enough!

Congrats! I thought about one, but in my personal opinion I can never tell which Stang is differ from the others. When I see it on the other side of the lane I'm going through my head with, "Now which ones are these." The Z, I just look at the headlights lol

Haha those issues you mention probably won't bug me nearly as much as the failed CSC (a couple of weeks ago) and stupid throttle lag. Seriously, is the ECU really holding back power?! Even my friend thinks I'm babying the car when I'm driving it, but I tell him it's the throttle response. These two pretty much ruins the fun of owning this car. If I had another choice for a V6 sports car, it would be the NSX. [shrugs]
Congrats on your 5.0 What a nice engine!
