Default Door squeaks

Please help! The driver's side door on my 2010 Nismo squeaks (or creaks) quite loudly when I open it to its full open position and again when I close it from the full open position. I've lubricated the hinges liberally, which seemed to help a little, but it is still squeaking/creaking quite badly. Anyone else experience this? Any thoughts on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated!

Take it the dealership and use your warranty. At the very least this will get it recorded in the database to protect you in the future regarding said issue and allied issues therein.

I tried that but unfortunately my duct tape wasn't strong enough to hold the doors in place so i couldn't perform the squeak test on the passenger side. So now I'm waiting to hear back from from the Mazda dealership on the cost/availability of Miata doors.

Based on your reply above, it now appears you were kidding about the Miata doors, so I cancelled my $1745 door order with Metro Mazda . Thanks for the heads up. I would've hated to take delivery of them and then try to return them if they didn't fit!....{Are you sure they won't fit?}

They fit, a few of us made a DIY on Miata door install. Call up Mazda and get those bad boys shipped. Let me tell you the build quality is second to none. They also cure blindness and herpes.

While I'm new to this forum, I follow it daily and have learned a tremendous amount of invaluable information about my Z from you guys. But one thing I learned by myself today [after my failed duct tape experiment]is that it is a lot easier to take the Z's doors off by yourself than trying to put them back on by yourself. {Does it make any difference which door you put back on first?}

Can you post a shortcut to the DIY Miata door replacement thread? I searched all available forums (fora?) and couldn't find it. Even though Mary (***'t Parts Manager at Metro Mazda) said I was a pest and to not bother her anymore, she let me reorder the doors (I ordered one left door and one right door-I assume that is in line with your DIY thread), so those bad boys are on their way to the Magic City. Also, and this is embarassing, My Uncle Ed wants to know if the Miata doors have to be installed on a Z to cure blindness and h*****s. If not, he's going to order a pair for his Gran Torino (even though he doesn't have a squeaky door).
