about Nissan security plus

When I bought the car for some reason the sales person talked me into getting the extended warranty, but now I'm going TT, and it's gonna void the warranty, I heared that I can call Nissan and cancel the security plus and get most of the money back, since my car is only 6 months old. Do you guys have any experience on that?

Yes I do. When I bought my Z I had a brand new sentra I had for 10 months. I used the remaining money in the maitenece plan and the extended warrenty for my down payment. Talk to the finanace manager at your dealership. Its a fairly easy process.

It's been 7 months and I still have not gotten my $4100 warranty & maintenance refund!!!! They are about to lose a customer for life.

I don't quite remember what I got out of getting the Security Plus. However, I did get 1 year free oil change. When the CSC blew a couple of weeks ago the towing charges were covered.

You're right though... once I, too, get FI along with aftermarket clutch there goes the warranty if the CSC blows again.

i just got my refund check for my warranty from my altima. I bought in june 08, sold in may 2010. Cancelled the warranty as of date of sale/mileage of sale. i got 1,326 dollars back out of $1995 original cost. So you should get even more of your money back, since i got like 2/3 back after 2 years
