Default New 370Z Owner with a couple of questions!

"Please allow me to introduce myself........"

Hi from the UK!

Bought a brand new 2010 Nissan 370Z Coupe last weekend and I love it, it's an awesome machine! Got one in Le Mans Blue with the GT Pack, Sat Nav and the flappy paddle/auto box.

And I've got a couple of questions....

According to the Owners Manual, on page 2-27 it states that you can open and close the windows with the Intelligent Key? Tried with mine, doesn't do it. Spoke to the dealer and he said it shouldn't do it although it states in the OM that it does! Any idea's anyone?

And while I was fiddling with the car, I managed to stop the outside chime from working when you set the alarm. Anyone know how to bring back the chimes?

Thanks in advance!

Paul.

To get the windows to roll down, just press and hold the unlock button on your key fob. After about 5-10 seconds they'll start to roll down.

If that's what you tried and it didn't work, then I have no idea.

Just reset them on the idle stage then turn off he car, push the windows all the way up and hold for about 5secs, then turn off the car, get out and try to hold the unlock for about 10 seconds.

Tried this, didn't work! Not sure if there is a problem with my car or the UK spec' models don't have this feature?

I wouldn't worry about it. The japanese z has the extra tail light at the bottom while the us doesn't. I might think so.

Hi Paul,

I never got this to work on my UK car either. I think Nissan forgot to take it out of the manual!
