Just picked up my new 40th anniversary 370z and got a problem with the pasenger window droping down about 10 -20 mill when i open the door, also there is no manual for car only for the sat nav.will call dealer tomorrow .

It's supposed to do that. It's called indexing windows. When you shut the door, the windows go back up. It helps the door shut easier.

haha thats normal bro. The window goes down about a cm when you open the door so that the window doesnt get caught by the frame of the car. Its not only the passenger side either, its also the drivers side. All 100% normal

Welcome to RWD. Jk. Yah, its suppose to do that but it should close when you shut the door. If not, do a window reset.

Hi BUT WHAT IS A WINDOW RESET

Thanks Brian

frost 09-26-2010 06:34 PM

If I remember correctly, turn the car to the on position (but not all the way to running) hold the windows control to the up position for 7+ seconds. This should reset the windows.

Thank you frost will try that.

Check to see if the manual is in one of the back cubby holes (just behind the seats).

This is the place for your questions and the OM is the best for fixing the problem.
