Chivalry is not dead! My encounter with a 09-010, black Porsche Cayman S.<o></o>

On my way to a car show today, as I was entering a construction zone on route 33 with the left lane closing, I noticed a beautiful black Porsche, Cayman S , just as glass shiny and well keep as my black "Z"car, we were side by side looking and admiring each other's car, as the lane was closing I on the left slowed to allow him to go in front , he excepted , in doing so I fell behind him but a white Mercedes Benz would not allow me to slip back behind the Cayman S, :shakes head: I had allowed in front, insisting in getting me to get behind him or at worse to make me come to a complete stop..

Then the Cayman S slowed in front of the white Mercedes Benz blocking his advances to cut me off, making the white Mercedes just about come to a full stop, waved for me go in front of him.

We waved at each other as I took the next exit.

just a question. was this merc by any chance a C-class? i find the most err "unpleasant" drivers to be c-class, 3 series or a4 owners. the rest of them like guys in m5s seem perfectly at home cruising in their 500hp monsters.

Sorry, couldn't really tell what model or year it was but it seemed like a fairly new , mid size MB , certainly not the larger Benz.

That, too. However, white cars are better than everything else. Don't even debate it. It's a lost cause. You must accept it and move on.

I'm embarrassed to admit that whenever I drive my BMW 335i, I am a total **** on the road. I guess people just expect it and I guess you just act the part. :driving:

Whenever I was in my 370Z or any other car for the matter, I'm the most courteous driver you'll ever meet. :eek:

now now, leave us a4 drivers out of it...we're not as bad as bimmer drivers.

a-holes have no car brand. i've seen it from all types. it just comes down to the driver who feels he/she's entitled.

i choose to be an a-hole to drivers who deserve it (slowpokes, cellphone drivers, overly aggressive drivers, etc) :)
