Last Thursday, I filled up a full tank, and got on a highway, half a mile later. I reset the avg mpg computer display. I set the cruise to 75mph and drove like that, for about 180 miles (roundtrip), with only a few miles, in town, in between.

The computer averaged 27.7 mpg, which I think is shockingly good! I should say that it was estimating more than 500 miles on a full tank, assuming I could keep it at highway speeds. Otherwise, with some mixed driving, I'm getting close to 400 miles per tank.

awesome! I'm mostly in a suburban area but my commute to work is a mile away. So untill my days off I dont drive it alot( My Car) so with my old 350z I was getting 20 so I'm thinking it will be about the same with this one.

I only get 14.something MPG. But I work from home and really only drive to the gym in the mornings, as well as local errand runs. I sometimes take the Interstate to the gym just to open it up a little, but even then the gym's exit is only 2 miles where I get on. I'm not conservative with the throttle either. So I'd say 14 MPG is probably a good representation of the opposite end of the spectrum.

Yeah I didn't do too well with the whole 'don't rev above 4000 rpm for the first 1200 miles' thing.

You saw the video clip of me doing a launch, right? That clip pretty much says it all about my ability to resist temptation with this car. LOL

I've had my Z for about three weeks. I'm averaging around 22-23 MPG with about 75%Hwy/25% City. The worst I've had was 19MPG. The best I've had was 23.5MPG. I have noticed a marked decrease in mileage at anything over 70MPH. If you keep it at 70 or below, I would expect at least 24 MPG avg.

I tried to keep it under control for at least the first 500 miles and waited till it warmed up before I'd hit it hard. I can say the car cruises nicely at about 90MPH. I might also say I've seen 125MPH, but that would be irresponsible. (It still had plenty of power at 125MPH!...and so smooth, it felt like 80MPH in my Acura TSX). I took it on a 200 mile road trip and I have my TomTom set to yell at me if I hit 90MPH plus. The GPS was yelling at me a lot and I still averaged 21.5MPG for the trip.

I now have about 1400 miles and I'm feeling a little more lead in the foot these days. I might have to look into that cool radar detector bracket.

I picked-up my 370 Touring 7AT with sport package in the middle of January; my only long trip so far has been from Nashville to Tampa (645 miles each way) and averaged right at 23mpg with an average speed for the trip of just over 78MPH...on the freeway, I usually cruise between 80 and 85.

In town driving seems to average around 19 or so.

22.8 mpg

370+ miles per tank. My average speed is 30.4 or something like that and I've got over 3000 miles, so take that into consideration.
