the RE050A's do get louder when they wear but i have to say they are nothing vs the old gen S03's.... man those were like ROOOOOARR!!!

Check out Second Skin. They are a forum sponsor and are much cheaper than Dynamat and have pretty good reviews. I used their stuff on my hatch and it was pretty good.

How much weight are you adding to the car when you put dynomat in the trunk and doors?

The road noise really doesn't bother me. I came from an S2000. lol

I weighed the last sheet that I have and it's 2lbs 3 3/4 ounce (gotta use those kitchen scales for something

). So for the amount that I did is somewhere under 18 lbs.

I replaced the Bridgestones with a set of All season Falkins F452 and it has cut down on the noise quite a bit. I am going to look into the Dynomat

get the michelin pilot sport a/s, they are expensive but last way longer than any other tire and are a lot quieter than anything else i've put on my z. that is the only tire i will put on it from now on.

thanks, you'll spend more up front to get these but they are guaranteed to get 45k miles out of them even with a staggered fitment and their belt construction cuts down on noise and they ride great. i'd rather spend 1600 every 45k than 600 every 10k miles.

I recommend the Continental ExtremeContact DW tires when you replace the tires. They are cheaper, last longer, very well rated, and most of all – very quiet. The Z stock tires are very noisy. Go to TireRack.com and compare yourself.

Or the newer Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus. Not sure if that was what you meant. I have them on my Z and no regrets. They are a bit quieter than the Yoko's and have a tread wear rating of 45000 miles.

I use the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus tires for the winter months tho and am happy with them. I still won't drive the Z on the snow days. I put these tires on for the winter primarily to drive on the highway when temps are below 40 degrees since the summer tires aren't meant for those temps.
