Opposite paint jobs....

I'm very curious as to what it'd look like if I did the fangs in lamborghini grey as well as the rear diffuser. Since my car is black, it won't be too obvious but I'm just so tired of the black Z having no additional color. I'm still so upset with myself that I didn't get the Pearl White Z like my original plan but when I saw the first Z on their lot, being my black one, I couldn't help it but to buy it. I don't have enough money for carbon fiber parts for a long time so I'm just trying to think of something that will bring some color but not too much. What do yall think? Maybe I should've put this thread in the photoshops..Oops ;)

The CF Fangs should not run you too much...

BUT would it really be worth putting cf on my black car? I'd hate to spend money and not see a difference.

Why not use some painted painters tape to check out how different color combinations would work/look?

You'll see the difference, but it won't be super obvious. It'll look better as a subtle difference anyways.

^ ok, gotcha! But I guess no one has an opinion on what I was thinking about doing? haha...sounds odd, I know

I think it would look good if you painted it grey.

SophiaZ 09-13-2010 06:58 PM

yea, I think a flat grey ( sorta like primer, would looks sweet) but still have no images for it yet

Personally, I think it would stick out like a sore thumb. Kinda make it look buck-toothed. Do you have Photoshop or something like it to try out some ideas?
I know you were doing some Nismo interior, ever give a thought to a dark/blood red fang?

Jeffblue 09-13-2010 07:46 PM

why not go matte black for those parts you want? XPEL makes a stealth film that basically makes whatever part you apply it over look matte.

No, the thought of a dark red or even matte black never crossed my mind. Doesn't sound bad tho either or. I did think about doing the calipers red so maybe the red for the fangs and diffuser wouldn't be such a bad idea:tup: But than again..I need it all to flow and not look too standout-ish, ya know? I just want to add some type of color and I know yall got some pretty good taste so help a sista out ;) I'd need a photoshop for that one tho.....

I have some of the photoshop, just not the full install :( Plus, I have no clue what I'm doing with it haha

If you do anything like that, I would include some part of the side skirts, just to pull it all together...
