I can't believe there are this many people having oil level issues. Wether it'' burning too much oil or the level is low, I can't believe with all the technology

I can't believe there are this many people having oil level issues. Wether it'' burning too much oil or the level is low, I can't believe with all the technology they put in our cars that a pressure light or low oil level sensor was never added!?!?
I check my oil every so often and I defiantly don't wait 7,500 miles, but now I read sh$t like this and start checking it daily! HAHA! I can't even imagine how many people are having this problem that are not even associated with the forum to report it. I hope people read these finding s and check there oil before it's too late!
