These cars are cop magnets!
 

Happy Labor Day. I knew i was pressing my luck and its not legal in my state.
But after having some front end work done i left off the front license plate on my car,it just looks better. Well not to the police got me today. good news just got a warning. But has anyone notice every time you drive by a cop car its like they rubber neck you trying to catch you at something.

I drove 3 different vettes over 5 years and never once got pulled over for no front plate. oh well i'm a big boy live and learn.

Yea, I think vette's get a pass with the whole no front plate thing. Quite annoying, maybe it is an american muscle respect thing or something. Here in Ohio I've gotten pulled over in my old Celica GT-S, and got pulled over in my STi twice. I absolutely despise front plates, especially on sports cars and would much much rather not have it on the Z but I currently do have it on, just not worth giving police another excuse to pull me over.

I had temp issues on my s2k whenever I ran a front plate, so it was never on.

For some reason, the need to cool my 800ish bhp motor never seemed to go over well with the FFX county police. The state troopers never seemed to care though. :tup:

yeah! your not kidding! I parked in the middle of nowhere, came back after work and look what got attracted to my car!

Yeah, I hate front license plate. Long story short got a Stillen tow hook license plate frame.

Ive been luck with the z so far. But i did get a warning from a trooper for not having one on my frontier.

Defintely, Vettes are exempt. Similarly, Harley bikes are noise and exhaust exempt.

Anything American-pie get the exemption.

i know people who run 5% tint all the time and never get caught in GA. I had 20% on the windows and 38% on the windshield since may of 2009 and three weeks ago i got a ticket for it and then again 4 days ago got another ticket for the tint so i went to 35% it sucks.

No doubt!! I have a 67 camaro and blew by a cop coming down an entrance ramp about 120. I about **** my self and hit the brakes. He tailed me for about two miles then flashed his lights and took off on an exit ramp. And by the way its ok to have a loud *** harley but you better keep your stereo down by all means! lol!!

It illegal to have a loud stereo because the Hogs can't scare the sh!t out of you when they pass you about 3" away at WOT! :)

On a serious note, my friend went to the parking lot and saw that the ticket for no plates being written. He gave him the ticket. My friend took it and noticed a Vette was next to him. He politely asked, "Why is he not getting a ticket?". The cop said, "do you have a Vette?". This happened for real.

When I order my car I asked the dealer for a pussy magnet, but I think they gave me a cop magnet. Do you think they will warrenty it?

Were they female cops? If not, you'll have to prove it.
