Totaled my 95 300Z last week, picked up my 370 Nismo this afternoon

Platinum Graphite, she looks nice!!! :driving:

Had my friends and Neighbors in the Cul-de-sac all coming out to see what was making all the racket coming down the street!!! Ooohs and Aaahs all the way around. Some even wondered if I had bought a new Porsche, not that they were really car people...lol

I flew by a parking lot with a Boxter waiting to pull out on the feeder road, I thought his neck would break as I went by... Way too funny, this car is going to get me in trouble!!!:happydance:

Wife loves it, it's a sweet ride!!!

Sorry for the loss, congrats on the purchase!

Welcome to the Z community! You might want to read over G Force's thread on the Nismo suspension in the "Nismo Z" section.

I get the "is that the new Porsche?" question a lot around here too.

Congrats, the is the car & color that made me trade my 350Z for the 370Z. But I didn't get the Nismo...

glad your ok after totalling your 300Z. Now you got yourself a new and improved Z! Welcome to the forum!

I posted a thread last week, I got nailed on the freeway by another driver who lost control of her total p.o.s. car. Blind sided me and took out my 300ZX that was in Perfect shape, the adjuster even said so. It had 146k miles on it for a 95 and was garaged at home and work and only driven Monday thru Friday, (wife was not comfortable riding that low so we take her full size 2500 Chevy Pickup on weekends, we tow a fifth wheel for camping)

I miss my 300, but this Z has major potential!!! I'm jealous of all you current Nismo owners and the fun y'all have been having up til now. Now I get to play as well...lol

Awesome car/color. Victor thanks for saving me from sounding like a broken record again haha.

well im just glad the 300 is built like a tank! your still around!

did you have a turbo or non turbo?

i hope you get the mod bug and turbocharge your 370z that way you still get thrown into your seat like with the TT z32.:happydance:

elm_tx 08-26-2010 11:01 PM

naw, I never did any mods to my 95, it was an Automatic Non-Turbo. Sounds Lame, but it was NOT. I bought it sight unseen in Dallas from a dealership, was told it was a stick. Well, the shifter was a stick...duh... no clutch... dumb @$$ sales person. I had the loan papers filled out when I left town to pick it up in Dallas and accepted the car. I was Major Wound up when I went to tack pick up the car, but turned out to be a very fun car. (My 4 vehicles prior to that really were standards and not stinking automatics).
As for the 370, I need to drive it for a bit to appreciate what I have, then I may look into tricking it out. I know I need a new sound system, additional speed? While that is always good, I was already doing a hundred on the feeders giving my friends a Nismo experience....lol

I hope they compensated you for that automatic on your 300Z! I would have been so hot.

Congratulations on the Nismo. Obviously you are not going to be disappointed.
