"... generates downforce. 150 ft-lb in the back..."

Last I remember, down FORCE is measured in units of FORCE, like lb(sub f), N, etc... lb-ft is a measure of torque, force applied over a moment arm.

Dumbass.

To me the nismo is not worth the extra money you pay vs the sports package.
nissan should have done more to the car than it did.

example the z06 vette vs a regular or stock vette there is a ton a difference
worth the extra cash.

Those dyno numbers are awfully high for a stock trim. Plus they can't even break 13s in the Base Z.

Re: What are you guys more interested in 1/4 mile or lap times?

Lap times. Otherwise I would have bought a Challenger or some other car that only goes in straight lines.

The Nismo is a cool car, but I agree with most, its not worth the extra $$$. I feel like the Nismo would need like maybe 370-380HP to make it worth it. Just cause its stiffer dont count.

Only the SRT8 Challenger is .2 seconds faster than our car 0-60, the R/T or base isn't even close

It all depends what you want from the car. The NISMO does give a performance boost, as well as a more aggressive look, and it's all stock, warrantied equipment. Sure, you could do it aftermarket for cheaper, but that's a different game. Besides SRM, I'd argue you could outdo the sport package for cheaper on a base model as well. But you don't see many people doing that, either.

I mean, it's all relative. A lot of the money will be money spent twice--you justify some of the cost of the sport package as the LSD, but that VLSD will be replaced by anyone doing anything serious with the car...

So the cost of the base + mods is much lower than the sport + mods.
