I wouldn't bother with the saran wrap. Just use clear packing tape and tape up the tire to the center cardboard about 3" all around in a star pattern. Use two large cardboard cutouts that are larger than the wheel (21" cutout) for front and back.

when i ship wheels and tires i use the TireRack packaging method.

mirror sheet on the face of the wheels, cardboard circles on both sides, taped very well.

agreed I'm going straight tape and cardboard, I'm not spending $20 on wrap, they will be protected and fine.

think I should ship them individually or 2+2?

cardboard will scuff the paint though so put a mirror sheet between it if you are shipping flawless wheels. if already scratched, who cares.

ship individually. mark 1 of 4, 2 of 4, etc.

Good recommendations! You could use saran wrap to cover them in. That should be cheap? Good luck!

wat i usually do is get the freight estimate via online (FedEX usually). then add $50 and tell the buyer i'd refund him/her the difference in freight if it was cheaper than wat they paid for the freight.

i send them either a copy or scan of the actual freight bill and reimburse them for the difference via paypal.
