it has to be elevated to get up above the turbulent airflow, its all in the aerodynamics. Bad thing is I have lost almost 2 mpg towing it on the trailer now. I think I will have to unbolt it before going to long distance tracks. It adds an extra 800 pounds to the back of the trailer at 75mph.

here's mine.
the regular texas plate didn't do the black Z justice so I had to splurge for the black one... IMG_0095.jpg Edit: anyone know how to make the embedded photo larger? full size is displayed when i click on it but it should be larger in the reply window so no one has to click on it in the first place.

Had the same plate on my S2K before I put it on the Z. Much better on the Z IMHO. I've been tailgated by cops a couple of times, but so far, no tickets .
