Car Cover and Plates Pics
Here are the pics of the custom cover that I ordered. I was concerned that the wing and antenna would be an issue but it fit perfectly.

Another member here had purchased one of these covers when he got his roadster and I really liked it. I also PM'd him about the antenna he was using. He had done pretty extensive research to find out which stubby worked best. Thank for the help John! Here is the info on both.
This is the site where I ordered the cover: Custom Car Covers, Seat Covers, Dash Covers and Floor Mats | CarCoverPlanet.com Looking at the invoice, it appears that the cover was actually made by "CoverKing" out of Anaheim, CA. Here is the Description of the one I ordered: Custom Vehichle Cover Stormproof (TM) 2-Tone Black Sides Wine Center Class 3 Nissan 370Z 2010-2010 Roadster w/o rear trunk antenna The total shipped was about $325. Here is the link to the attenna I ordered: BLACK CARBON FIBER SHORT STUBBY BILLET 3" INCH ANTENNA: eBay Motors (item 260397662999 end time Aug-14-10 14:05:41 PDT) |
Do you garage and cover your car or just outside?
How does the 475 HP 300 ZX compare with the 370, including handling? The freshly waxed red looks fantastic. I assume you garaged your other Z all these years so which one sits out now? All the best. |
Is this the Stretch Satin one? It looks awesome.
I'm assuming you were allowed to pick your own two colors too. |
great cover! that Z deserves a garage!

Thanks everyone for the great comments!

We also have the '86 Z that was my daughter's. It was wrecked xmas eve year before last and I can't even stomach lifting the cover off of it. Daughter was fine, the car was not. It is sitting in front of the garage where I moved xmas day. It has to go so I need to find someone that wants to put it back together. Front end damage...impact with a crepe myrtle. I would hate to see it parted out but that might happen too. Not by me, I don't have the time. The TwinTurbo has always been garaged. That is, until we brought the roadster home a couple of weeks ago. My garage is a mess and although there is room to comfortably accommodate both, it has to be re-organized first. I also have to move the fridge and figure out how to best place the riding mower. The wife knows I want a place with more land and a lot more garage space. She is supportive of that but it will be at least a year before we are ready to move. Quote:
"You will have to give me a little time to get a real feel for the roadster. I only have about 20 minutes of seat time right now. I have owned my TT for 9 years and just recently rebuilt the motor with lots of upgrades. Target was 450-475 rwhp on pump gas. Hasn't been on the dyno yet but I feel we got pretty close with the "safe tune". That being said, I have about 5 seasons of autocross and am very familiar with it. It just feels like home, if you know what I mean. Initial impressions: The 370 is more of a sport luxury car with exceptional balance and handling and adequate hp. The TT is just an all business, no BS, bad a$$ sports car that is comfortable enough to cruise. Hit me up in a few weeks and I may have an entierly different opinion. " Quote:

She agreed to this happily - all I have to do is wash her SUV for her every now and then. My Z's stay inside!! Great cars BTW. I also had an 86 300Z years ago and loved it. |
