370z and toll roads in california

Since I just got my 370z and love it! Since I don't have license plates yet, I have been running these toll roads, I know I'm a bad boy lol...can the cameras still send me a fine in the mail? Everyone tells me no because I don't have license plates.

No, you won't get a citation because they can't ID the car without license plates (and they can't read the paper registration that should be taped to your windshield). You're safe - unless a CHP happens to be parked nearby and sees you do it.

"Temp Tags" in California is just a paper registration that is taped to the lower passenger area of the windshield.

Be careful! I always see CHPs on the tolls from the 91frwy to RSM :tiphat:

Just take your plates off when you are crossing tolls.

Black box.

Haha. I've been doing it for three months without paying tolls. I just leave the dealer plate on. I carry a tagging device in the car and use it in case i see a cop nearby.

Yeah you are safe for now, I ran it a few times there and here before I actually moved here and got plates! Since then naw! On the news here they had a lady that has run it for over a year and they finally caught up with her and owes thousands in tolls and she played dumb when they interviewed her.........

Infigured you live around that area. That's the only toll area that I know in SCal. :)
