New Delivery Odometer Miles

That's one reason why I'm ordering mine. I don't trust buying a car off the lot that has more than 15-20 miles. You never know who has taken the car

If I get one I want one with no miles on it. Cause when the dealers test drive it, you know they drove it really hard.

That's impossible. You can never buy a car with 0 miles. for 370Z, range is 4-15 miles.

^ right, they have to do some testing. But if your desire for wanting 0 miles is because they are beaten on test drives, don't concern yourself with 4 miles.

No clue what you're saying but here's break in instruction for new tires (courtesy of "dad" via tirerack)

Quote:
Breaking In Your Tires

Tires are comprised of many layers of rubber, steel and fabric. Due to these different components, your new tires require a break-in period to ensure that they deliver their normal ride quality and maximum performance. As tires are cured, a release lubricant is applied to prevent them from sticking in their mold. Some of the lubricant stays on the surface of your tires, reducing traction until it is worn away. Five hundred miles of easy acceleration, cornering and braking will allow the mold release lubricant to wear off, allowing the other tire components to begin working together. It is also important to note that your old tires probably had very little tread depth remaining when you felt it was time to replace them. As any autocrosser or racer who has tread rubber shaved off of his tires will tell you, low tread depth tires respond quicker."Don't be surprised if your new tires are a little slower to respond (even if you use the exact same tire as before). Their new, full depth brings with it a little more tread squirm until they wear down.

Default How many miles did the 370z have when you picked it up?

Like the tittle says. My salesman found mine in the system but the car wasnt even at a dealership, it was in some sort of storage facility and when they took it to the nearest dealer I went with the salesman so I could drive it back. Black Base w/sports p. 6 MT, picked it up with 16 miles. After 17 days, now it has 1590. I cant stop driving it!

16 is very little i know....but when i bought my s2000, i remember seeing 6 on the odo when i checked the car out....and when they did the detail job and went out to get gas, it read 13 when they came back. 7 miles of local is a LOT of joyriding if you ask me. That's y on the other thread i asked how you drive to get gas.....something smart to do that i never thought of even asking.

6 when i checked it out, 12 when i returned from my test drive, 17 when they finished gasing it up and detailing it. The mileage was due to me specifying shell v-power, and I knew the nearest one was a couple miles away. They even gave me the receipt of proof without me asking for it.

He actually offered for me to drive it there. I bought Nissan for my wife from this dealer with the same salesperson before. We actually took a yellow 370z to this other dealer so that we could get the black one I wanted. So I drove there (in a yellow 370), drove back (in my black 370), and then went to get gas when all the paperwork was finished. Then drove home.
