Anyone else had this problem

So next week i take my car back to the dealership for the third time since i bought it.It now has 4800 miles on it and the service engine light keeps coming back on. First time they put on a new gas cap.Second time they said it was a fuel hose of some kind and dropped the tank and replaced the filler neck.
Now the light is back on. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had any issues
like these,or has heard of anything. Thanks for any help.

wish i could tell you i don't know. i'm not much of a gear head.
when i take the car back in i will get it all it writing and maybe have more
info. it's just frustrating this started happening at about 900 miles on the car!

i could be wrong but but they may have said something about a evac leak

could be another leak somewhere in the system... but I have noticed if I close the gascap and only do a few clicks it'll turn the engine light on, but if I way overclick it (like 10 times or something, there was no more issue)... I did have the cap replaced also at the start of it and kinda figured the rest out on my own (it came on again after fillin the tank so I removed it and retightened it and the engine light went away after a day or so).

They know it's a vacuum leak, eventually they'll find it, no big deal except for your loss of car time. Did they give you a loaner?

no loaner didn't think to ask i will this time. i hate driving my wife's rouge!
seems like you leave them your car and they might start on it by lunch.

Check your Lemon Laws in your State. Most States if they cannot fixed the same problem three times you have a "lemon" and you could get another car.

Go to your local Auto Zone and ask to use the OBDII device. You plug it into the connection on the lower side of your steering column. You can get the code being thrown by your car. Its so easy, a caveman can do it, meaning piece of cake. Then you can at least compare what the dealer tells you and what you know as far as the code and you can then research as well.

Good luck trying to get it approved. They will only lemon the car if the problem he's having is a huge problem/safety issue. Evap leak does not qualify.

And they dint work on your car right away because they work on the people waiting first.

i knew they took people in order. but when they ask you to drop off your car at
5 the day before they are to start on it. so they can get on it and it sits out front until 1 the next day. my point is they schedule like doctors.
