Default HELP With Auto Trans on 370z

I posted this also in the Engine/Drivetrain section. Just thought I'd post it here also. Thanks for the help.

In manual mode does the transmission allow you to shift without shifting for you? Perhaps some of you with experience with the BMW dual clutch could answer this. How does the auto trans in the 370z compare to the DCT in the M3? What I'm hoping for is the 370z to have an auto trans with a true manual mode so that I can do the shifting. I know it's not going to be the same as a DCT.

in M mode it will wait for you to shift up but will still down shift automatically for you if you forget but it will wait until you are at like the lowest rpm for that gear.
