Road and Track, BRE 240 vs 370Z

Just got my Road and Track email update. They have a little video blurb about the BRE 240Z and a Stillen-modified BRE 370Z. Hopefully there's more in the upcoming magazine,

Good find. I am impressed with Carters dedication.

I wish I could repaint my Z like a BRE car.

Gotcha.. we have a full install facility.. and access to painters.. nothing but a enclosed trailer ride away.

Love to do full builds like this.. it's nice to have a hand from start to finish. This car was built with some SCCA specs in mind, so we could only do limited things, but you'll definitely see it around.

I'll keep you in mind should I ever end up in CA & decide to have my Z redone.

I'm tempted at times to bring my Z back to stock & start over with the mods & adhere to a specific class (NASA or SCCA). I love my car as it sits, but it's kind of a hodgepodge of nice stuff as opposed to having a specific focus.

SCCA or NASA is tough.. some random regulations.. how many seats, center consoles, door panels, power to weight ratios.. it can get crazy..

True. Still, having a focus is nice.

Maybe I'll buy a Miata for my track needs & go from there.

SCCA was fun back when I was racing a Fiesta. The biggest peens were the other competitors, lol, especialy the GTI peens, they didn't like losing to a Ford, even a German one.
