370Z for me..Owned a 2006 G35 Coupe and loved it..it looked a lot better than the 350Z at the time..Didnt care for the 350Z...but the new looks of the G37 just doesn't do it for me...Looks too "girly" in my opinion..the G35 design was a lot nicer IMO.
The back seats of the G37 doesn't really count for much...If your 6'0" or plus like me you can forget about fitting adults or kids past 5yrs old in the back..First off you won't be comfortable having to move ur seat up to squish someone back there and second if you're driving kids around, the G is not really a safe option compared to a sedan or SUV...The actual hatch space in the Z makes for ample room compared to the trunk space of the G37 coupe which is slightly smaller to accomodate the small rear seats. Whether getting a Z or G..these cars are made for fun spirited driving every now and again...its what seperates these type of cars from other vehicles...I love the raw feeling the Z and its nterior provides...its how a sports car should look and feel...Even the Ferrari 599 GTO is raw with racing seats Harness seatbelts and no radio/stereo...and thats a 3digit car....if you want comfort then a sports car is not for you...just my ::twocents: |
G37 looks boring. It's a crappy sport/luxury car compared to the BMW's and others in its price-range. Get a 370Z.

If your fine with the lack of 'features' then the Z is the better choice. |

I owned a G37 Coupe but like the 370Z better. The 370z seems somewhat more special than the G. I actually look forward to driving my Z more than I ever did my G. In my opinion, the 370 wins in the looks department, especially the rear end. The rear end stance seems wider and a lot more sportier than the G.

I had a 2008 G37S coupe, then went to a 550i then to a 370Z.
the G37 was definitely fun, with all the luxury, and it was very easy to live with. However, if you want a sports car, I'd go with the 370Z. I like the Z a whole lot better than the G. futhermore, Infiniti typically has cheaper leather compared to the Germans, my leather was wearing out in 2 years (i was the original owner). the tranny and clutch in the G is kind of similar to the Z, but way too rough to be a luxury sports car. I had tranny mount issues that were solved but it was still not very smooth. so in the end, to me the G was luxurious but lacked the quality of a luxury car and it was too rough for the luxury inside. |
