370Z for me..Owned a 2006 G35 Coupe and loved it..it looked a lot better than the 350Z at the time..Didnt care for the 350Z...but the new looks of the G37 just doesn't do it for me...Looks too "girly" in my opinion..the G35 design was a lot nicer IMO.

The back seats of the G37 doesn't really count for much...If your 6'0" or plus like me you can forget about fitting adults or kids past 5yrs old in the back..First off you won't be comfortable having to move ur seat up to squish someone back there and second if you're driving kids around, the G is not really a safe option compared to a sedan or SUV...The actual hatch space in the Z makes for ample room compared to the trunk space of the G37 coupe which is slightly smaller to accomodate the small rear seats.

Whether getting a Z or G..these cars are made for fun spirited driving every now and again...its what seperates these type of cars from other vehicles...I love the raw feeling the Z and its nterior provides...its how a sports car should look and feel...Even the Ferrari 599 GTO is raw with racing seats Harness seatbelts and no radio/stereo...and thats a 3digit car....if you want comfort then a sports car is not for you...just my ::twocents:

G37 looks boring. It's a crappy sport/luxury car compared to the BMW's and others in its price-range. Get a 370Z.

By extra features you mean like back seats seats and a trunk? The Z can be very impractical at times over the G but If that's fine with you it seems like the right car. But I think you mean you would like a G37 with the least features rather then a 370Z.

If your fine with the lack of 'features' then the Z is the better choice.

I owned a G37 Coupe but like the 370Z better. The 370z seems somewhat more special than the G. I actually look forward to driving my Z more than I ever did my G. In my opinion, the 370 wins in the looks department, especially the rear end. The rear end stance seems wider and a lot more sportier than the G.

I had a 2008 G37S coupe, then went to a 550i then to a 370Z.

the G37 was definitely fun, with all the luxury, and it was very easy to live with. However, if you want a sports car, I'd go with the 370Z. I like the Z a whole lot better than the G.

futhermore, Infiniti typically has cheaper leather compared to the Germans, my leather was wearing out in 2 years (i was the original owner). the tranny and clutch in the G is kind of similar to the Z, but way too rough to be a luxury sports car. I had tranny mount issues that were solved but it was still not very smooth.

so in the end, to me the G was luxurious but lacked the quality of a luxury car and it was too rough for the luxury inside.

One thing I would like to add is that this car will be my daily driver, if that makes any difference.

Hey guys, I'm going to be trading in my G coupe in about a year or so, and the top 2 new cars I'm looking at are the G37(maybe x) and the 370Z.

I'm looking for something similar to my G35, the looks, the power, the smoothness of driving it.

I'm leaning a bit towards the 370Z though because I am basically just looking for another sports car, I don't care much for all of the extra features that come with the G37.

I've driven an '08 G sedan before and honestly I just don't like the way it feels. What I mean by this is that if I push down on the throttle, I want to hear/feel the car respond.

I have not however driven the G37, but I'm only assuming that it's similar :dunno:.

I've had many a ride in my friends 350Z, and the only thing that bothered me was the somewhat barren interior and the lack of room for just about anything.

Well anyways, thanks for your opinions and comments, I hope I was clear enough.

You mention wanting "another" sports car. What sports car are you coming from? That might help us better determine what car you might be suited for.

Or were you mistakingly referring to your G as a sports car?
