God forbid somebody get a cosigner while they're already approved just to save money on interest. Keeping yourself from throwing away thousands of dollars on nothing is so fiscally irresponsible. The only time there is no merit on behalf of either party is when a parent cosigns for a kid who can't actually afford the car. Is that what you were trying to imply?

Yes, you're quite likely correct for this particular situation, but comments like the ones you made above are simply inane.

You once insulted me for being "ignorant" for defending our own cars against a ******* Hyundai - quite ironic I think, considering the kind of blanket statements you like to throw down.

You're not a real enthusiast unless you paid for the car in $1 dollar bills.

But on a serious note, good on the OP for showing this *******...

However, realize that many of us could find ourselves acting the same way toward a Civic owner if we're already having a bad day. Hell, anybody who owns a nice car under a certain age is subject to all kinds of unfair stereotyping and labeling. But the example in this thread is truly deserving of those stereotypes.

You only continue to demonstrate your ignorance.

I make more than either of my parents, if not both combined.

For somebody with so much self-proclaimed "wisdom" you make a lot of assumptions. Not to mention you're a textbook hypocrite.

Don't worry about that guy. He's the type that would respond the same way the guy in the OP did if a "youngster" commented on his car.

Bitter much?

Calm down.

I've lived in NJ all of my life and I have never seen a "guido" at all. Literally never. My advice for all of you is to move down to South Jersey and enjoy the better part of your state.

edit: seriously. 350/300/260/G's all wave at me and I wave back. Hell, cars that are just well known tuner cars wave. Maybe the community is just friendlier down here. Even the really young high school kids with those cars just want to chill and talk gears. :v

If only everyone was like this. Unfortunately your either a gearhead or a statushead (douche). There's not much inbetween.

On a side note, I wave at pretty much most other Z owners too except the 300z. That car is so frickin alien to the Z family it's almost ridiculous. Not only that but it's such a rarity to see a really clean, tastefully modded one (even in stock form). Every one of those things I see is a bondo-laden rolling disiaster or some form of donk hooptie.

I apologize on behalf of the 350z community.

LOL

Doesn't sound like the tool was an enthusiast anyway so you got him good.
