I'm actually kind of glad I never got my first new car until I graduated college (although I had a motorcycle in college). Looking back, it's a headache I'm glad I didn't have. I mean now, I have a good job and can easily afford the car, I can afford to buy some stuff for it and I have a good secure place to keep it.
In college I had some beater Integra that I bought for $1000 and it was great because I paid for it in cash and it was already a beater, so I never worried about where it was parked, what it looked like or if I ran it into things. It freed up my time and money for much more important things: buying beer and chasing girls. |

I was 17 when i first got my 370z. i am currently 18 and extremely satisfied with my first Z ( black cherry 370z).
my parents paied for half the down payment and i pay monthly for my car with two jobs. its worth it and its not bad i just have to be responsible with my money

I did. I love them forever... Lol.. But then again the main reason why i got this car was because my best friend that i knew since i was 3 got his car when he was 15 and he got a G37S.. so he set the bar pretty high. Then my other friend got a red Genesis.. so i asked for a 370z and it took awhile but now I have the fastest car out of all haha... But i feel bad when i see other people who are alot older that drive cars that arent better than mine. Like i am only 17 and my parents bought a 53k car.. (42.6k invoice.. got it to 39k then with taxes and APR and warranty.. it came out to 53k) Quote:
