While it was 7 months to the day. LOL Growing up, had a couple of 426 Hemi's, a 440 6 Six Pack, couple of Trans Ams (455 SD + 6.6) and a bunch of motorcycles. Retirement is 6 years or less. Depends on how well I do in the stock market.

Glad you're dealing well with your loss, though.

Thank you. It was tough. You find out how short life can be at times. Here today, then gone in a few minutes. With that lesson, I want to make the most of what time I have left. My daughter is a big help. She tries to keep me from going overboard on some of the things I do. My bucket list. LOL She says it tough trying to raise a single parent. LOL

Amen to that!

I think the Z has a very broad age appeal. The 240Z came out in 1970 so anyone born early/mid 50's who dreamed about getting a Z while they're in high school or college may think about finally getting a Z they loved when they were teenagers. I'm 50 and had a '83 280ZX and a '93 300ZX before I got my 40th Anniversary 370Z. It reminded me of the first generation Z's so I got it for sentimental reasons.

Turned 74 last November. On warm summer days it's a toss up whether to drive the 370Z or jump on the 09 Harley Dyna Low Rider for a day in the wind.

We see plenty of 21-30 year olds bringing us their 370z to work on .

I'm 23, but can't afford a 370z yet.

It is a car I'd like to own in the near future. coupe, nismo, or roadster .?.?...

I'm 32. All my previous cars were used VWs. Once I could finally afford a new car, I test drove the new GTI and told the VW dealer to put me on the waiting list for the new R (R32). But the wait was too long. I thought, screw it, I'm going all out. The Nissan dealer was next door. And the rest is history.

People told me I was crazy to buy a two seater with a 2 year old and a 4 month old. I say they're crazy not to!

I've always loved the Z, it was just never attainable before my 30s. I don't know how you 20 year olds do it.

I'm 27 and just got my 09 base sport 6spd. I love this car it reminds me a lot of my 91' 240SX which brought me a ton of great times.
