Default 385?

I went to my local nissan dealer to get an oil filter for my 370z and i over heard the sales rep telling a customer not to buy a 370 because he said they would be pissed when the 385 comes out. Has anyone heard of a 385z in the making?

Default Yes the A 385

It is coming in 2011 ...but that is no reason to not get a 370Z. The are going to call it the A 385 ...starting the alphabet all over........People that frequent car shows already know about it......

I have not heard of the 385Z and I think you may have to wait another 5-7 years to see one or any new 3XXz model.

And it's going to replace the Z? Seems strange that they'd throw out a letter that has so much heritage. I mean, from a marketing standpoint, it just seems . . . bizarre. Eh, the world's supposed to end in 2012 anyway, so I'm not going to sweat it. lol

So let me get this right they went to all this work to design and manufacture the 370Z and then completely replace in just two years. Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiight......
