I appreciate your enjoyment of the unique qualia associated with operating a tradtional manual transmission set-up -- but that design is going to be all but gone in about 10-15 years, and is already not available on any high-end sports cars.
Well 10 to 15 yrs is faaaar down the road! I will enjoy my 6MT until then, by that time I will probably be an old fart to drive stick anyway.

There will always be stick shift cars around, doesn't matter what new technology comes out.

Bwahahha, that .05 seconds faster makes that big of a difference huh? Do you even have the capability of dressing yourself in the morning?

Too funny, shifting gears is fun and all but can be a pain in arse in traffic too. The DSG in my Audi never got boring. It had the auto mode, sport auto mode, and manual mode. It was a blast in both the manual and sport mode. The Z would be cool with this.

i think whoever posted that was talking about lack of backpressure when you run a full catback so AT could suffer...unless you raise your stall speed.

also MT has more of a musical note when you shift so i prefer louder exhausts on MT cars.

You drive AT, monty? Oh Lord, then you must not be having any fun driving the Z around. I mean, since guys like me with 6MT's are the only ones who get any enjoyment out of driving, why don't you just hand me your keys my good man? I'll take that burdensome bore of a car off your hands. lol

you know what would be cool. To have the h-pattern manual so that you can have fun, but when you leave it in the neutral position, it acts as an auto so the guys in the city do not have to feel like crap...lol sounded a lot cooler in my head...

Sir, you a gentleman and a scholar, and I don't care what Trip says about you. You may have my the keys to my boring 7 speed automatic transmission with paddles. I will go to driving a boring Toyota Camary, as thats more fitting to my personallity since I drive a automatic Z.
