How do you know the db had crashed? And even if it did there's no doubt they would have a back up so I would imagine that any entries submitted while they were restoring the DB would have been lost but none of the old data that had been submitted and saved already.

However, I know of fixing in another contest similar to this with a several thousand dollar prize. You might be right. You might be wrong. You don't have anyway to prove anything though.

wtf does that have to do with the price of tea in china? those are two completely different things. one is going to effect the way that one person spends the rest of their life, the other is going to effect an entire region of the world for a very, very long time. you not winning a car (for whatever reason) has virtually no effect on anyone other than you didn't get it (boohoo) and someone else did (WIN!)
