well if I put my AT to MT it means I am going for spirited driving so around 6k.

if I for some reason am driving normally while in MT I tend to shift at 3-4

Modshack 07-04-2010 12:00 PM

Usually 5K or lower if I don't want to grit my teeth...:ugh2:

Well over 5K when I want to frighten my passenger!

On a serious note, I usually shift at 3.5k for my daily commute.

370Zsteve 07-04-2010 02:48 PM

It has to be above 3k for me cuz the Gen3 intakes make such a sweet sucking sound at that RPM

For nml driving 2-2.5k. For spirited runs about 5k. For racing I shift at redline.

Under nml driving there is no need to go higher than 2.5 unless going up a hill or something. Anything about 2.5k is just wasting gas. Not that I'm concerned with saving gas, just saying there really is no need to go about 2.5.
