My trip to Stillen today...

So, I'm getting married about 5 miles away from where Stillen is located, so while the soon-to-be misses was getting her hair done, I decided to stop by Stillen and see what they got going on down there. This is a cool a** place! I talked with Adam who gave me a nice tour of the shop. I got to see the famous 300ZX that won the 1994 24 Hours of Daytona, 12 Hours of Sebring and 24 Hours of Le Mans. I also got to see the new Stillen bumpers, and I was told by Adam, that there is a new iteration out with subtle differences (so mke sure you ask about it should you go that route).

I also saw Phimosis' car awaiting his its supercharger kit. Those of you who have not seen the S/C installed on a 370 yet, its SOO sexy in person that its almost worth buying just due to its aesthetic finish (although the obvious performance of the kit is the sexiest part IMO)

I also got to meet the man, the myth, the legend... Steve Millen. That pretty much made my day! Anyway, here are a couple pictures I snapped from the crackberry...

Sorry... the only other picture I have is of Phomosis' ride, but it has his license plate in clear view, and I don't have PS. There wasn't much going on being a holiday weekend and all. Saw a crate of unpowdercoated, unprepped intake manifolds for the SC systems, saw the shop 370Z which is all over this site (except it has a new Seibon CF hood on it) and then I met Mr. Millen. No GTR or anything, just a couple of Mustangs...

If you fly into John Wayne Intl, it's literally walking distance from the airfield...

Thanks for the tip.

Why does everyone freak out about having their license plate in a photo? Seriously, do you realize how many people look at your plate every day? It's not like your social security number is on your license plate...

shumby 07-03-2010 10:55 PM

^^ i hear ya i never understand that either

I don't know why they do either but I know that plenty of people block out their license plate before putting photos online. So, without talking to Phomosis first, I wouldn't post pictures of his license plate. He might care about such things, I don't know. I think its just common courtesy.
