On a running circle, the 370Z probably. On a track (where turns and "straight" lines are involved and thus both sides are taken into consideration), the SS and most likely the GT 5.0 beat the Nismo 370Z. |

All im sayin is if ur gonna have a performance variant of a 370 makes sure its faster n handles better than the regular version...Smh wat they should do is kill the GTR and put the GTR's motor in the Nismo with better handling n all dat n sell it for 60k....

nissan seems a little lazy and unexciting when it comes to color schemes. Not much of nothing for the 2011 370z. It would be nice to see a little power bumb for the 370z to say 350 and nismo 370hp. Come on nissan look at what they did for stangs. I know they don't compete with one another but still...it would be nice to have an extra boost.
Or at least nissan could of given us a E85 option.

The mustang GT turned a faster lap time at VIR during the "Lightning lap" by a considerable amount than the Nismo Z tested a while back (before the brakes went and it was wrecked).

Wished the Z had more competition with other car manufacturers. Maybe then they would of done more of an update on the Z. At least i think they would of. Hell the stang made a major update to compete with the SS.

Nismo Z would not be my Z of choice for the track. Give me a base + sport with intake, exhaust, suspension, and a tune. I bet it beats the Maro and is closer to Cayman S. Nismo weighs too much.
