Wow...I know how a few bits of gravel can sound like 5.1 stereo Saving Private Ryan's D-Day scene behind me.

Luckily the wheels were fine, although I'm planning on getting new ones very shortly anyway. It was the weirdest thing...I heard a ticking noise coming from the back, like when tape or something is stuck to your tire. About a minute later, BAM!!! Tire blew apart.

man, there was no tread left on those tires from what I can tell in those pics. Didn't you say you only had a few thousand miles on the car?

I just went over 17k. I bought the car with about 3k on it, and I have a pretty nasty commute. Still, the tires should have lasted longer than that, right? If Shift would send his wheels out my way, I'd be a lot happier. Oh well...I'll put a couple months on the new tires and throw wheels/tires on later in the summer.

I know because the wheels on my SRT were stolen about two months ago. We got it on video and it took them all of 10 minutes to take all 4 wheels. does Nissan offer the wheel and tire insurance when you purchase a new car? |
