Age?
I feel like when I get my Z (hopefully next spring), I'm going to feel good knowing that I met my one huge goal. I don't go on a lot of expensive trips, I paid my student loans off early, have been increasing my credit score, etc - all to reach this goal, which is now in sight. At the same time, I'll be happy knowing I'll only be 25 and will have the car paid off by the time I'm 30!
What has your experience been with goals, age, and sacrifices to get your Z? |

Well....the Z isn't my dream car, though it is my 57th. I started early (at 16) teaching myself to rebuild and maintain the things I owned...House, cars etc. As a result I could always afford pretty cool cars from early on.....Much to the dismay of my friends who had to pay others Big bucks to maintain their stuff. Over the years, I've saved enough to more than pay for the 370....Good luck with your dream!... |

I think I'm in my 21th or 22nd car. I lost count.
The Z is a great car but not sure if it's my 'dream car.' But atleast the car has character very unlike japanese cars and I enjoy owning it. |

Is this supposed to be a question about my age when I bought the Zed? Although i love it, it's not quite my dream car... it needs to be a bit more compact and have about 150 more whp to be in that ball park...

Will be 23 in July. My goals were a military deployment, 4 yr degree in Computer Science, a chunk in an Investment portfolio and a nice credit score.
Almost done with deployment, 1-1/2 yr left in college, 30,400 in investments and ROTH IRA and a 740 credit score. I am proud of myself for not being spoon fed from my parents like other kids these days. We have the same reward, I want the Z. |

I've achieved a lot for my age, and I have a perfect credit score to thank for it. Starting early is key.

While the 370z isnt quite my dream car..Ill prolly be 26 (age I am now) or 27 by the time I get one. Dream car is a porsche 911 GT3 RS or 911 Turbo or Lotus Hennessey Venom GT but I dont quite have the 850k for one in the bank lol.

I was 27 at the time, but I just turned 28 recently.
I also bought my 97 240SX SE 5MT Cobalt Green Pearl (used with 32k or so) on my 19th BDay. The Z trumps the '40 tho.
