Anyone ever get stopped for missing front plate?

I live in Omaha, Nebraska, and it is a law to have a front plate. I had a Volvo S40 for two years and have now have a G35 coupe

I had a Volvo S40 for two years and have now have a G35 coupe with out the plate on the front. I have never been pulled over for it. On the other hand, my brother has a Mazda RX-8 since 2004, and he got a ticket for not having one on his car from a state trooper. He still has it off though. Most cars look dumb with a plate on the front and it is a stupid law...oh well.
