Auto window down
 

When I want my descending or ascending driver or passenger window to stop, part way down or part way up, I click the button up, a second time. Maybe half the time it works and the window stops. The rest of the time, it doesn't acknowledge the second click and continues to open or close all the way.
Is there anything I can check or re-set before going to the dealer claiming a defective switch?

I had the same problem for a while and it drove me crazy. I finally figured out that you don't push the window button all the way down, but just half way if you want to stop it at a certain point. If you push it all the way down and it's in auto mode it never stops for me until its all the way down.

You need to push/pull in opposite direction to stop it.

Press harder the second time. I had the same problem untill I pressed harder. Now.... voila, no problems.

It takes some skill, I haven't really figured it out yet, I just play with it until it does what I want it to.

This one time, Monty actually got stuck in one of his windows... Its was kinda weird :ugh2:
