Default Gas tank Location?

I am trying to find out were the gas tank is on the 370Z. I used the search engine but didn't find any info. I don't have any way to lift the car.

I looked under there and think that it might be under the driver or passenger seats.

The reason that I need to find it is I am installing my stereo and am going to put my amps and a cap under the seats. I want to make sure that I have clearence to use some short self tapper screws.

I don't want to blow up myself and my car in the process. LOL.

Thanks for your help!

It's in front of the rear wheels, on the left and right side. Becareful drilling behind the seats.

Thanks, I was wondering if it had a split tank or not. I know that the seat bolts go down about an inch or so into the mounts. But they may have raised that area to give room for the bolts.

I wish I could get under there and take the covers off to see exactly how much space there is. I doubt that the tanks are touching the floor board of the car, but I better make sure first. I only need to go 1/8" or 1/4" into the sheet metal to anchor the amps.

Ok I went and checked under the car again and the gas tank does not go under the seats at all. But under the passenger seat there is a bunch of fuel lines toward the outside edge to be ware off. The driver side doesn't have anything under it. So I can mount my amp and cap there.

I will have to be carefull on the passeger side. It should all stiil work out ok. I will post up some pics after I am done.
