By the way, do you all clearly see the bonnet of the car and the road right in front of the car when you drive your Z?

I think that the 370Z accommodates a large range of heights. There really aren't any problems with line of sight looking forward, but the blind spots are pretty bad (setting your side mirrors properly will eliminate the problem though )

I'm 5'11 and fit in it pretty good. I can my blind spots just fine. I could see a shorter person having issues seeing the blind spots because the windows are kinda high up.

Im 5'8" and I could easily fit if I were a few inches taller... and i'd actually be able to see over the ridiculously oversized side mirrors, too.

Oh no, I think I am being misunderstood. The reason I posted is not for tall people, I mean short. What height must you hit to be able to drive the Nissan Z? I assume at some height in the 5's.

id say from my height 4'10'' is minimum. im about 4 clicks from having the seat all the way forward
pulling in is kind of a pain in the *** but just look at the reflection of the car closest to you. other than that and the inherent blind spots. its still a blast.

if you need a tad more height to see over the side mirrors you can get two M10x50 1.25pitch screws and spacers (get extra washers as the 50mm might be too long for your app) to raise the back of the seat about 1" from the floor.

The front screws won't need replacing. Just loosen the fronts while you install the back 2 screws and tighten all 4 down to 36lbs/ft. Re-torque after your testdrive.

Thanks to modshack's recommendation I tried this adjustment and now my seat is perfect height, I can see over the mirrors without seating perfectly straight.

Can anyone give me an estimate of the minimum height one needs to drive a 370z comfortably without any modifications?

Excuse me if this seems coarse as my intent isn't to flame, but are you a midget? If you are and you really want this car, you can adapt it to your personal needs. I've others driving pickups with all sorts of stuff. Now if you are not a midget, why are you even asking. Go to a dealer and sit in one.

I wish I have taken a pic of the over fat guy (Nissan Rep) in the convertible at ZdayZ 2010. If he can fit in the 370 anyone can.
