I'm getting a nismo 370z in a few months..
 

...But I just wanted to make sure there wasn't anything new coming out next year or any time soon for the 370z before I buy it. By that I mean more HP, better suspension exc. Also I have a question for all you guys with nismo z34's. What's it like owning the sexiest car lol? How does it make you feel? Seriously.

I will have to special order one if I do decide to buy it because there are not any in my area. I have driven the 40th and I loved that. But I'm looking for the best performance from a stock Z possible and the most potential.

Hi! and congrats on getting an awesome car! I have a touring/sport 6mt. I didnt go with a nismo because I plan on adding some of my own parts later and i fell in love with the monterey blue.

You'll have an awesome time in that car. I have owned mine about 2 months and I am amazed at the amount of people that just stare at our cars.

We have no information regarding the 2011 Z. My guess would be nothing is changing HP wise, at least that you couldn't do yourself with aftermarket parts.

The NISMO should be purchased for the following reasons:

1. Looks - body kit
2. Wheels - wider, lighter, effin badass looking
3. Suspension - springs and struts

In all honesty I wish there was a way to get a downgraded NISMO package with just the body kit and wheels. That way you just get your own coilovers, exhaust, whatever.

hey vipor- i think the nismo is suppose to be the 'complete package' for the 370Z's for the normal folk. i bet most regular-joe nismo owners wont be modding it(?).

one reason why i got the base was becuase i can build on it if i wanted... and not the biggest fan of the nismo's body kit (no offense intended).

everyone has their own preference no worries.

I like the Nismo's kit and wheels and the fact that it's a limited run.

If I were given a redo, however, I'd probably go with a Base/Sport. Coilovers, CBE, Uprev, Sways, Seats, maybe even some TE37s. I think I'd still be less than the Nismo out the door.

my guess would be the only change for 2011 would be a one off color for that year only. I've heard (unverified) rumors that its something similar to the burnt orange color that was on the 350's i believe called le mans sunset or something.

they still offer that werd orange color, huh? thought that was a fad for the mid 2000's... my neighbor has a scooter in that color. looks good.

i love the nismo's kit but idk bout that back wing, seems to big idk, thats just me, but i love the body kit anyways :tup:

Tint the windows so you don't start feeling uncomfortable from all the stares.

Totally serious here...but the reaction when you catch people staring can be funny as well.

I second this. 30% tints and a ClearBra went on just days after I got the car. Quite often I notice with my peripheral vision a car passing me on the side. Then I realize the car never moved ahead of me. I'll look over and notice about 4 people all looking at me.

they don't offer it anymore. i did love it though :tup:

i think about that from time to time. sometimes it seems big just looking at it. driving down the road though it's perfect.

you do get a lot of looks that's for sure, i catch people looking all the time.

twice just yesterday i had people come up and complement my nismo.

i've seen people taking pictures and video, gotten a lot of thumbs ups, and even heard things from people like "dude, that car is legit!" :rofl2::rofl2: it was some young kid. i started rollllling :rofl2:

when I went to the drag strip, my group was getting ready to leave and when I got to my car some dude was taking pictures of his gf next to my car. That was kinda weird.
