If your going to BS everyone, you really should look things up more intelligently. 12 mpg is just about what the advertised/stated mpg by Ferrari .. Most reviews (including an owner Ive talked to) have pegged the car at a mere 7 mpg and much worse if one were "really" running it hard.

LOL, My corvette had one of those "instant economy" digital gauges and when I put the peddle to the floor it went down to 3MPG! It had a 20Gal tank... So I'd get 60 Miles on a full tank! Probably less... By the time I'd get to the top speed (MAYBE 150) that number would go down to 1MPG if that.

I got the car up to 145 once... But the suspension just wasn't good enough back then for me to keep it there.

Maybe buy an RSX 6spd? They are light weight get great mpg and are pretty zippy.
You lose the rwd but its still a quick little car with good economy. Or a Miata, Celica, or Civic si.

But the changes aren't enough to throw the mileage off enough to be seriously noticeable.

The pumps stop when a certain pressure has been reached in the tank. If it's off from pump to pump, it won't be more than 1/10th of a gallon which isn't enough to throw off the calculations that much. It's reasonable to say that your MPG is +/- 0.2 MPG.

Also, you should never top off your tank:
Topping Off
Like I said......I have been doing this for years.........with no problems...........And a gas pump cuts off when the gas backs up and cuts the nozzle and if you would try what I posted, you would see that you can get AT LEAST 2 more gallons in your tank.

The Enzo is driven very rarely, it is an investment that I got for a steal........and plan on making enough on it to buy several Zs, although I will get only one of course...the less miles on it , the more it will be worth...I had a 240Z before most of you were born, and I havent had one since that, but I love them because of the way they HANDLE ........I am not interested in a GT-R because I dont want a car that is not a RWD

The SR-71 picture is because My son went to the United States Air Force Academy and had the privilege of flying them after he became a pilot.

You have one of the less than 400 Enzos in the world? It trades for over a million dollars on average.

Yep -- alefcole. And the funny part is that in the Genesis v 370Z thread, he says "Driving a hyndai is not much different than driving a Nissan. Both cheap sports car, dammm it, I wish I had money to buy myself a GTR."

Genesis Vs. 370Z

So, we are to believe that he owns a Bugatti Veyron but can't afford a GT-R.

^^^ LOL! Seriously. My old client bought his Enzo for $900K and sold it for $1.9Mil. He only bought it for SEMA to show off some of his wheels, then sold it about 6 months later. With low miles on it, it'd probably be worth about $1.5Mil even in this economy. I'd say that's worth enough to buy ALMOST 47 370zs at $32K/each.

I love those kit cars... LOL The only Enzo my 300zx can beat!

No, it doesn't cut off when the GAS backs up to the nozzle. It cuts off when too much pressure backs up to the nozzle. If it waited for the gas to back up, it'd spill over and cause a LOT of pressure to build up in the tank when you start the car. I'm not trying to tell you to stop, I'm just trying to tell you that I'm not going to waste my time "shaking" my car to see if my car's tank will fit 2 more gallons. That extra 2 gallons aren't worth chancing damage or spill-over to my car, and this isn't Road Warrior or Mad Max. There's a gas station a stones throw away from anywhere you are.

And I'd sure HOPE that they let your son fly the blackbird AFTER he became a pilot. That'd be pretty bad if they let him before hand. My uncle was obsessed with that jet. He was an engine mechanic in the USAF.

No but Saying that you are selling an Enzo to buy a 370Z is a little far fetched don't you think?

Btw don't generalize people. This is a forum made up of Z enthusiasts that are very friendly and helpful when it comes to useful information. Most people here have a great sense of humor. It is difficult to hear innotaion in pitch when someone replies to a post.

Do not get all bent out of shape from a few jabs. People wouldn't respond at all if they really were jerks, they would just ignore you. Remember, this is the intertubes.

Now from personal experience, I have made stupid posts and people have called me out but its all in good fun. Learn from information that others provide. One upmanship is not needed on the internet because there is always someone with a better car and more knowledge than you or me.

Take it all with a grain of salt.

In actuality if you do have an Enzo, then good for you, you are one of 400 of the luckiest people on the planet to own one.

Cheers!

I did say that......maybe you took it that way...but I did not mean that I was selling anything to buy a Z...............I was just saying that I COULD !!!!!!!

man. I want to keep this a chill forum...cuz if it ends up like my350z, then nobody will want to even post.
Ferrari, I hope I'm wrong in calling a bluff, but by your posts...it just seems likea bunch of BS. My brother has an exotic car dealer friend in Florida, and we know first hand that Enzos are never at a steal. Not only do u have to own two ferraris prior to owning an enzo...the community is very elite group of ferrari enthusiasts...not saying that u cant be that person...but I know i wouldnt be on a Z forum with your 27 posts if I had an Enzo...or any ferrari at that matter. I mean I would be waxing that a** all night...**** i do that now with my Z.

In regards to your topping off method...you are absolutely wrong. First of all, there's no way that you can get 2 gallons more after it clicks. Also, topping off in general is just a bad idea as shown by a previous link. Moreover, If u try to top off, you will very soon notice the gas dripping on your paint...now as a Ferrari owner...or any nice car owner, you know that gas and paint is not a nice combo.

Also...your gas mileage is wayyyyyyy off. The same exotic car friend takes his personal collection to the track on occasion, and driven hard, those cars gulp gas. as a matter of fact, Top Gear did a Supercar challenge to see which one has the best gas mileage: a lambo lp560, audi r8, ferrari 599 gtb, and some others...racing around the track, the ferrari got like 3MPG...the enzo is either worse or not far off that

So...If you really do have an enzo, and your "son" flew the blackbird...or kite ...what ever...congrats. you're a lucky man.
If not, take this as a opportunity to stop your BSing...cuz it honestly doesn't amuse us or make us envy you.

to AK, sorry for getting upset. I will make all my further posts more friendly

Just to point out, because I'm a big fan of poetic justice, that you, Ferrari, mouthed off to ssqpolo first in that '300 miles per tank' thread... and you were mistaken.
