And I'd sure HOPE that they let your son fly the blackbird AFTER he became a pilot. That'd be pretty bad if they let him before hand. My uncle was obsessed with that jet. He was an engine mechanic in the USAF.

its not really low for a 3.7 litter v6 engine... I mean, yeah it matters on your driving habbits, but its still better than the 350z.
My friend owns a g35x sedan and his getting 16mpg off that. >.< "look on the bright side" |

If your going to BS everyone, you really should look things up more intelligently. 12 mpg is just about what the advertised/stated mpg by Ferrari .. Most reviews (including an owner Ive talked to) have pegged the car at a mere 7 mpg and much worse if one were "really" running it hard.

LOL, My corvette had one of those "instant economy" digital gauges and when I put the peddle to the floor it went down to 3MPG! It had a 20Gal tank... So I'd get 60 Miles on a full tank!
![]() I got the car up to 145 once... But the suspension just wasn't good enough back then for me to keep it there.

Maybe buy an RSX 6spd? They are light weight get great mpg and are pretty zippy.
You lose the rwd but its still a quick little car with good economy. Or a Miata, Celica, or Civic si. |

No but Saying that you are selling an Enzo to buy a 370Z is a little far fetched don't you think?
I did say that......maybe you took it that way...but I did not mean that I was selling anything to buy a Z...............I was just saying that I COULD !!!!!!! Last edited by FERRARI; 02-18-2009 at 07:56 PM. |

man. I want to keep this a chill forum...cuz if it ends up like my350z, then nobody will want to even post.
Ferrari, I hope I'm wrong in calling a bluff, but by your posts...it just seems likea bunch of BS. My brother has an exotic car dealer friend in Florida, and we know first hand that Enzos are never at a steal. Not only do u have to own two ferraris prior to owning an enzo...the community is very elite group of ferrari enthusiasts...not saying that u cant be that person...but I know i wouldnt be on a Z forum with your 27 posts if I had an Enzo...or any ferrari at that matter. I mean I would be waxing that a** all night...**** i do that now with my Z. In regards to your topping off method...you are absolutely wrong. First of all, there's no way that you can get 2 gallons more after it clicks. Also, topping off in general is just a bad idea as shown by a previous link. Moreover, If u try to top off, you will very soon notice the gas dripping on your paint...now as a Ferrari owner...or any nice car owner, you know that gas and paint is not a nice combo. Also...your gas mileage is wayyyyyyy off. The same exotic car friend takes his personal collection to the track on occasion, and driven hard, those cars gulp gas. as a matter of fact, Top Gear did a Supercar challenge to see which one has the best gas mileage: a lambo lp560, audi r8, ferrari 599 gtb, and some others...racing around the track, the ferrari got like 3MPG...the enzo is either worse or not far off that So...If you really do have an enzo, and your "son" flew the blackbird...or kite ...what ever...congrats. you're a lucky man. If not, take this as a opportunity to stop your BSing...cuz it honestly doesn't amuse us or make us envy you. to AK, sorry for getting upset. I will make all my further posts more friendly |

Just to point out, because I'm a big fan of poetic justice, that you, Ferrari, mouthed off to ssqpolo first in that '300 miles per tank' thread... and you were mistaken.

Hey man.........you say I am wrong.......I have been doing this for at least 30 years..!!!! Have you even EVER tried it? I think not..........yet you have the audacity to say that I am wrong......lol After the nozzle clicks off.......your gas will settle as the air works its way out of the tank.......thu the fill spout......why dont you try it.......and see? And I have never had any problems from doing this.......never..........in all types of cars...... Last edited by FERRARI; 02-18-2009 at 08:57 PM. |
