Funny thing happened to me on the way home tonight...
 

....driving home, after having only owned the 370Z for four day, I pulled up to a light with a silver 350Z convertible next to me. The driver opens his window and screams out how much he loves the new 370. Then he says, there's a Z meet going on right now, in town, and welcomes me to stop by.

I couldn't pass up the opportunity. Apparently, it's a bunch of guys and girls from My350Z.com. All very cool, I had the only new 370 there and everyone was interested in seeing it. Luckily I had the my camera in the car, so I quickly snapped off a pic or two, right before I froze to death. Mine is the PG 370 all the way on the right.

That's Sweet!!!! I wish there was something like that in Memphis. By the way we have similar tastes in cars haha.

Yeah people were just BSing about cars, etc. One by one they'd "test out" their exhausts :)

What did they think of the 370 in person? They are pretty brutal towards it on that site.

I can see why they'd be like that, but in person it was all praises, as to appearance, both inside and out. Not to mention someone saying in passing (probably incorrectly) that the only car that could possibly take one of the turbo'ed 350s there was my 370.

Awesome. Yeah I think most on the site are pretty cool. Just some seem to take a very negative position. Both are great cars.

^^ nothing compares to when the G37 came out............it was like a month of constant bashing...while someone was making a new forum so we could move out...lol


not a single thread survived the bashing...hahah....then all the G37's ppl left that forum for the new one just in time...

Seems the same thing seems to be happening again here. If we all could get along!! I don't even go to my350z much anymore. But I do browse MYG37 very often even though I am not a member very good and relative info there.

I didn't know G37 had it bad at the beginning. But I am glad that it went well for you K.alexander and maybe it changed some of there opinions

Wow... I was thinking about joining another car club out here when I get my 370. There's a couple VQ clubs here... About 3 months ago I was driving down the freeway in my 300zx when I got passed by about 20 G35s and 350z's going REALLY fast... I wasn't sure if I should try to keep up or see if any of them crash ahead of me. LOL

Yeah those meets can be fun with the right people.

I took mine to a similar meet a few weeks ago and the car got the same response, people really love it when they see it in person.
