i think this might be the case because of how the ac heat exchanger and radiator are somewhat integrated... so i think the refrigerant running through the heat exchanger is effectively cooling the radiator... i am not sure and am just theory mongering .. hahah

The dual fan theory may be closer to right. Most of these vehicles equipped with a/c will have a dual fan setup with one dedicated to the condenser. So it is likely that the second fan would and may be cooling the car a little more.
I agree with you 100%!

Post 11 and 23!

Is there or is there not a problem with the oil cooler?

It doesn't make sense, your putting an aditional load on the drive system because your using the air compressor. Now unrelated the water temp trick, needs the heater to be run to lower the water temp in case of an overheated engine, but the Ac on to lower the oil temp? I don't think its possible. What maybe hapening is that as the reving of the motor slows because your at a light or in slow traffic the engine is able to bring the Oil temp down a bit since your not pushing it. so I think thats the reall reason and not the Ac.

After looking at the engines cooling system. I have seen the reason on why Oil temps would drop. The Ac cooler is attached to the front of the Radiator, as one uses The Ac, the separate Ac fan turns on in conjunction with the Main engine Fan. This cools the water temp which also bring the engine block temp down which also Affects the Oil temp to drop, so I Now see how this is Possible. I couldn't test since I'm running an Oil Cooler already.
